We have enjoyed every minute of our stay at A-103. The drive north around the island has spectacular scenery. It’s one way in part. Stopped at a Korean’s garden for fruit and enjoyed his ice-cold samples. Kula Lodge on the way to Haleakala has a “must see” one of a kind garden creation. Thanks for sharing A-103. Our third stay. Still love the view and Napili Bay. Lots of boogie boarding and snorkeling. Best kept secret at Napili Point next door to left – a large coral field, large schools of fish, and swimming with the turtles every morning.

Our first stay was glorious. Besides the snorkeling at the coral field to the left, we enjoyed the clear water of Honolua Bay north on route 30 beyond Fleming Park. Park along the road and walk down dirt road which says “No Trespassing.”

The studio was more than we could have asked for. . . the view was perfect. . .snorkeling was amazing, especially at Honolua Bay (don’t mind the “No Trespassing” sign) and one beach down next to Napili Point we saw turtles! I don’t know how I’ll ever sleep again without the crashing waves right outside our door! Does it get any better than this? We explored every inch of the island it seems. It rained quite a bit so no pool or beach but plenty of other fun stuff. Our first time to Maui was fantastic!

“No rain, no rainbows!” Perfect mix of sun and brief tradewind showers. Lost track of the rainbows after number 50. Just spent our last morning in Maui hanging loose out front watching the crashing surf. So much to do here and I think we did almost all of it, but relaxing at A-103 is the best! We’ve stayed at Napili Shores about ten times. Your condo has the best of everything: view, location, décor, TV, and appliances. We used the Maui Westin Keiki Camp for the first time. Our eight-year-old daughter had a great time swimming and horseback riding. We had a great day off!

We were here 40 days and 40 nights! What a blessing! We walk for an hour every morning and snorkel every chance we get. This time the two best experiences were a school of 50 + Moorish Idols in Honokeona Cove and a pair of octopi “holding hands” at Honolua! We enjoyed your “home away from home.” Thank you and aloha!

Fantastic trip! We loved the snorkeling, body surfing, luau, shopping, and shopping. Weather was great. Trip to Hana and all the way around was fun. Don’t recommend snorkeling in Molokini – Honolua Bay is better. Recommend the “Swap Meet” in Kahului Saturday mornings 7 – 12.

Another wonderful stay in A-103. The surf has been spectacular. Our favorite place is still Sea House, especially for the romantic sunset dinners – book early. If you have breakfast there, they give you a coupon for the (huge)dinner salad. Erik’s is still a good deal. For real “cheap eats” go to the general store near the church at the Ritz – get take-out and  have a lovely meal and enjoy the view from your lanai. Honolua Bay is always the best for snorkeling. Been to Maui many times; paid a lot and paid a little, but this was the best at any price! We went to the Maui Fish Market at 3600 L.Honoapiilani and got fish to cook on the Barbie. Micael liked going to the Kapalua driving range to hit a bucket of balls. I liked watching for him in the nice restaurant next door. The grass smells so good there.

Our fourth time to Maui and first in A-103. A bit cloudy during the week, but the view from the lanai made it great! A highlight was swimming with 55 dolphins in L??? Bay. Best snorkeling within miles is a short walk away to the south in the cove at Napili Point. Nice coral, lots of fun, but best of all – big turtles!! Yesterday we took a small van all the way around Haleakala – from rain forest to desert, fantastic scenery. We recommend Valley Isle Excursions (661-8687). For breakfast and lunch, you can’t beat The Gazebo. One day we flew to Molokai and rode the mules down to the former leper colony made famous by Father Damien. The old joints and muscles (75 years old) were not designed for the 1 ½ hour ride down and 1 ¼ hour ride back, but younger folks should do it! The History of that place is mind-blowing and very few tourists get to see it. Yesterday we took an all day fly/drive to Pearl Harbor. If you haven’t seen the Arizona Memorial, we highly recommend it. Afterwards, see the submarine museum and walk through a World War II sub. Then finish the experience by walking around the memorial stones for each submarine lost in World War II. That meant more to me than the Arizona “Cemetery.” This morning we woke at 3 am and went to the crater for sunrise. I had to prove I could do it (at age 74) and took the “Maui Downhill” bike ride down Haleakela. Not for the faint-hearted. I hadn’t been on a bike for 30 years – but I’m in good shape and wanted to do it. 38 miles later I felt very satisfied – something to inspire my grandchildren! Every evening I say to my bride of 50 years, “Just another ordinary day in Paradise!” ~ Alan and Rella, West Grove, Pennsylvania

What an incredible week we have had here with tall the family celebrating our 50th anniversary. Four condos and we were lucky enough to get yours. It has been the best week of my life. Our second visit here. Still great view and sound of waves at night. Tested all the waters – ocean and pools and hot tubs all good! If you’ve ever driven single track roads (like in Scotland) and coast roads in Northern California, drive the tope of the island – it’s OK! Our 4th trip to Maui and first to Napili Shores. Our stay here was as great as Sharon & Errol described it. Our view of Napili Bay and the southeast end of Molokai and the ever rolling surf is outstanding. Had lots of clouds and one day of rain, but didn’t impede some great snorkeling in three local bays. Saw beautiful coral formations, fish and turtles. What a thrill. The only disappointment was when we suddenly realized it was time to leave. It was just like coming home again. The roar of the surf and the view of Napili Bay are hard to overstate. It’s a good thing we go back home so that we can’t get jaded by your awesome home away from home. Snorkeling at Honokeana Cove was wonderful as always. Swimming in Napili Bay was a blast. Sailing to Manele Bay was fun and what an impressive lobby the hotel has! Driving up Haleakala and viewing the stars was very interesting if pricey. What a magnificent view! The sound and sight of the waves allowed us to relax from our intense, stressful jobs/lives on the mainland. Just what the doctor ordered. We appreciated the boogie boards, beach chairs, cooler, and CDs – and used them all! Snorkeling at the Marine Reserve near Kapakua was the BEST!! So many fish and amazing coral.
